- First, visit the calendar page and find an opening that works for you. Email Loretta with the requested day/time, or, visit the Appointron link. Be SURE to check the calendar FIRST. Appointron does not show availability.
- Second, print out the release of liability and the policies and procedures. Bring a signed copy to your first lesson. If you cannot print them, Loretta will have copies on hand for you to sign upon arrival.
- Proper attire is important and affects performance. Please wear boots meant for riding. A helmet is required. We have helmets you may borrow until you purchase your own. Breeches or riding tights are highly recommended.
- If you are a beginner, your first lesson will be held unmounted.
- If you have riding experience your first lesson is an evaluation of skills.
- At the trainer's discretion, one out of 8 lessons will be held unmounted. Understanding herd behavior and reading body language is an important aspect of our program.
